BUFFALO, N.Y. - The top high school hockey teams in Western New York will face-off in the 28th Annual Super Sunday High School Hockey Championships, this Sunday at the First Niagara Center.

The event features six games, three Club hockey title games and three Federation championship games.

Coaches and players from all 12 teams were honored during a press conference at the First Niagara Center on Thursday.

Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff spoke to the group about playing in the event.  "Enjoy it, respect the coaches you're playing for, play hard for each other and have a lot of fun doing it."

For the players, the chance to play a title game at an NHL arena is a once in a lifetime moment.  "You just can't believe it, that you're playing on the same ice as some of the great players of our day," said Joe Ledwin, a member of the St. Francis club team.
