Three people Thursday night were injured when a car and tractor-trailer collided in East Bloomfield, Ontario County.

Ontario County sheriff's deputies said Nathan D. Bradley, 29, of Wilson, Niagara County, was driving a sedan east on Routes 5&20 when he struck a westbound tractor-trailer near Rabbit Run. The crash occurred just before 7 p.m.

Deputies said it appeared that Bradley traveled into the westbound lane, where he struck the rig nearly head-on.

Bradley suffered severe injuries and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital , deputies said. He was listed in guarded condition Friday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Bradley's children - a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy - were belted properly in the back seat and were taken to Strong with minor injuries, deputies said.

The tractor-trailer driver, Clayton J. Hobbs, 49, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., was not injured, deputies said.

A stretch of Routes 5&20 was closed for four hours Thursday. Deputies are investigating the crash.
