LEROY, N.Y. - An Environmental Investigator associated with Erin Brockovich has found no groundwater contamination near the Leroy Jr. & Sr. High School.
In a statement released Friday evening, Bob Bowcock stated that groundwater taken from three private wells indicated that the TCE plume migrating from the Federal Superfund site has not moved towards the school.
TCE, short for trichlorothene, was spilled on the site three miles from the school 40-years ago.
