SILVER CREEK, NY - A former Silver Creek school bus driver is charged with sending inappropriate texts to a 14-year-old girl.
Chautauqua County Sheriff Deputies say Chad A. Ellis, 31, has been charged with seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child for sending numerous texts of a sexual nature to the girl.
Silver Creek School Superintendent tells 2 On Your Side Ellis resigned from his job as bus driver with the district two weeks before his arrest, but police had already been investigating him.
Ellis is scheduled to appear in Town of Hanover court at a later date.
