NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. - One local child got his wish this weekend when the Make a Wish foundation and the Wendelville Fire Company helped Johnathan become a fireman.
The 5-year-old learned how to use a hose to put out flames, a very valuable skill for any firefighter. He even got a chance to sit in a helicopter, with a special suit made just for him.
The Make a Wish foundation has granted over 200,000 wishes for over 30 years.
