Buffalo, NY - After having to cancel the first of two vigils for 14-year old Angela Keim Friday night her family and friends gathered Saturday afternoon at the Rose Garden at Delaware Park, to remember the young teen who lost her life one week ago.

The vigil was a moving and emotional tribute for Keim as her close family and friends consoled each other, and leaned on one another as they continue to mourn her death.

"Everyone that came sure did love her and cared about her," said Bailey Archibald, a former classmate of Angela.

Its been a full week now since Angela was killed after the car she was riding in spun out of control on Versailles Plank Road, on the Cattaraugus Reservation. The crash also left a 13-year passenger in critical condition.

Although both girls were honored during the vigil, it was Angela who in death became the subject of what her father George Kuntz says was nasty and disgusting messages left on her Facebook page. Saturday's vigil was to remember Angela in a positive light.

"It's like water under the bridge you know. My poor baby is gone," said Kuntz.

During a brief moment of silence everyone held their candle in the air after noticing a single star shining bright in a cloudless sky over the memorial. A poignant reminder about how fragile life can be.

"It makes them realize that they're not alone in this, and like that they know that people actually do care, and that everyone should realize what happened and learn from it," said Bailey Achibald.

Tonawanda resident Christina Ogorchock said she never met Angela but attended the vigil anyway. "Its really good that people are participating in things like this to help support her family, and show that they're not alone in this, and that there are people who do love her and miss her."

And as the vigil came to a close, and all the songs and poetry about Angela ended, her family plans to move on as best as they can without their little girl.

Angela's former stepmother told 2 On Your Side, "You know Angela would be really, really happy. I know for her father it means a lot. She was daddy's little girl to the fullest. I mean there's no bigger daddy's little girl in the world than Angela, and the support of everybody being here in very, very consoling and it does mean a lot to us."

Friday night's vigil was canceled by Angela's family for 2 reasons, but most importantly because someone had threatened to cause some trouble at the vigil if it went on as scheduled. There were no problems Saturday night.
