BUFFALO, NY - Every February, the American Heart Association recognizes American Heart Month by throwing their annual "Heart Ball."
This year's 32nd annual ball raised money for education, training, advocacy and research in the areas of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and consisted of a live silent auction and dinner. Channel 2's Maryalice Demler and Ed Kilgore were on hand to host part of the event.
The focus of 2012 is on heart defects found in children.
