CLARENCE, N.Y. -- In just a few days, we'll mark three years since the crash of Flight 3407 in Clarence. There is new information on the memorial to the victims and their families.
There are only two stones left to be laid at the private memorial site on Long Street. It also features 51 stepping stones, with the victims names etched in them. There's also a bench and 12 pear trees to represent the day of the crash. They're planning a formal dedication on June 2nd after the annual memorial race.
Plans for a public memorial that may go up in front of the Clarence Library... are still in the early stages. And the Families of Flight 3407 invite the community to join them for a candle light procession and vigil on February 12th.
