BUFFALO, NY-- Rescue crews are clearing up the scene of an accident on the NYS Thruway where police say a tractor-trailer carrying automotive parts flipped while entering the I-190N off the I-90E. The accident happened just before 3:00pm.
Police say 29-year old Parminder Sran of Brampton, Ontario was driving too fast as he rounded the curve. The trailer hit the guide rail and then rolled over it.
2 On Your Side's Michael Wooten was on the scene and said that the cab of the truck was upside down on the bridge, while the rest of the rig crashed down below.
There were no injuries. Witnesses say Parminder was walking around and talking to police while crews worked to clean up the scene.
Sran was cited for imprudent speed.
