BUFFALO, NY-- The ongoing dispute between Time Warner Cable and MSG has hit some businesses without alternatives hard.
The Pearl Street Grill was one of those locations that did not have a way to show the game. That is, until today.
Direct TV crews spent Tuesday installing their service at the restaurant so that Sabres games can be shown.
They are hopeful the installation will be done in time to show tonight's game against Toronto.
So, where do the talks between Time Warner and MSG stand?
After 10 days, the conflict continues and Sabres fans are still finding themselves scrambling to find a place to watch the games.
Hundreds of thousands of Time Warner customers have been without MSG programming since January 1, 2012.
The Attorney General's office has called on both sides to come back to the table and the Sabres are doing what they can to make fans and sponsors happy.
The question is does outside pressure have any impact on ending this impasse?
Right now, the answer appears to be no, as the two sides remain worlds apart with no date set to resume talks.
