BUFFALO, NY - Sunday's game between the Bills and the NY Jets started out with a very special visitor up in the press box. A nice round of applause helped welcome former Bills Kicker Scott Norwood, better known of course for his "wide-right" field goal attempt and the Bills failure to win the Super Bowl back in 1991.

Norwood's first trip to the Ralph since his retirement was a happy occasion as he accepted the Ralph Wilson Distinguished Service Award.

"For what I did while I was here, again somebody that took it seriously, and bottom line did the best I could in all situations and I handled myself the best I could," said Norwood.

Down below, Bills fans didn't have much else to cheer about when looking at what was happening on the field. Instead of throwing the white jerseys off their backs, they threw in the towel late in the 3rd quarter, and started exiting the Ralph before the 4th quarter even started. For some fans the "Whiteout Game" was a complete bust.

"I'm disappointed cause the Jets are not my favorite team by any means, and it's disappointing. Very disappointing," one Bills fan said.

Another fan added this reply, "Horrible. I think unfortunately we thought we were going to win. We came in a little cocky and unfortunately we blew it."

Finally, a third Bills fan simply said, "It was just a poor performance, and they should have done a little bit better. They don't usually do this bad every week."

Like peas in an pod, Jets fans wore their green with confidence at the Ralph. Chalking up another win over their division rivals.

"The Bills are a good team, but they weren't compatible to the Jets today," said this Jets fan who traveled from his home in New Jersey to see the game.

A couple of fans from Ontario also got in on the rivalry. "It was a great game. Its always good to be in Buffalo for a game too, and good game for the Bills. I mean you're not going to win them all, but they're progressing and they're getting better all the time."

After the game State Police in Clarence told 2 On Your Side that they made several DWI arrests. Meanwhile Sheriff's Department dispatchers say they didn't hear of any more fights going on than usual.
