Anti-religion billboard on display along I-190 near Niagara Falls Boulevard
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Billboards promoting atheist views are in Niagara County. The Center For Inquiry is behind the ad campaign.
Pictured above is the billboard currently on display on Niagara Falls Boulevard near the Niagara Falls Airport. A second billboard is along the I-190 near the Niagara Falls Boulevard exit.
The message reads, "You don't need God - to hope, to care, to love, or to live."
The president of the organization says the billboard is designed to make people think. "It's possible to have a happy, meaningful fulfilling life even if you don't believe in god," said Ron Lindsay.
Carl Young told 2 On Your Side, "I find the sign a little bit offensive," because he says it disses Christianity.
