BUFFALO, NY - A little piece of history now hangs proudly in the lobby at the VA Hospital in Buffalo.
They dedicated an official portrait of General Casimir Pulaski -- the Polish commander who fought in the Continental Army and is credited with saving George Washington's life.
In attendance was newly elected Congresswoman Kathy Hochul.
While there we asked her about something that came up in her recent election, where she lived.
Hochul told 2 On Your Side's Heather Ly she just moved into the 26th district. "Yeah, I have a townhouse in Snyder. I was sworn in on June first, and I was signing a lease by June 30th. I've already transferred over my registration. We're putting our house on the market in a few days. Who know how long it takes to sell a house these days, so my husband will be there to take care of that. I've got my residency. In fact I'm leaving here to continue unpacking."
Hochul and her husband, US attorney William Hochul, plan to buy a home within the district once their Hamburg home sells.
