AMHERST, N.Y. - More than 7,500 riders participated in the 16th annual Ride for Roswell to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Organizers say they are on track to bring in $3 million dollars this year.
Over the past 15 years, The Ride has raised more than $13.8 million for cancer research and patient care.
Participants set out on one of 10 different routes, from the 3-mile family fun ride to the 100-mile long "Century Ride."
Riders who raised at least $1000 were able to take part in the 12-mile Peloton ride from RPCI in downtown Buffalo to the University at Buffalo North Campus where the other routes started and finished.
