The Buffalo Sabres have announced they've signed defenseman Brayden McNabb to a three-year entry level contract.   Buffalo selected McNabb in the third round of the 2009 draft.

McNabb just finished his fourth season with Kootenay of the Western Hockey League.  That team is headed to the Memorial Cup Championship.   Sabres GM Darcy Regier says McNabb's performance has been impressive.

"Brayden is a big kid with great offensive abilities, and he's continued to improve every year in Kootenay," said Regier. "His outstanding performance in the WHL Playoffs was just another positive sign in his development, and we are thrilled to now have him under contract for the next three years."

McNabb is 6'5" 216lbs.  He's 20-years old and is currently second playoff scoring in the WHL.   He had 72-points in 59-games during the regular season.
