BUFFALO, NY Local Photographer, Bob Mussell has been around the block. The Buffalo guy has worked with and for music superstars like Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Ricky Martin and many others. He is a concert photographer and has been going on the road for decades.
All of that is a great gig and a lot of fun, but Bob's heart has always been here in Buffalo. He stayed here to raise his family here in Western New York. He stayed here because he loves it here. He works with Robby and the Goo Goo Dolls to try and keep music in schools through the Music is Art Program.
We sat down with Bob and got him to tell us just a few stories.He told us that Elton John is, "an amazing guy. A really nice guy." Bob has taken photographs that have graced the cover of People Magazine and the pages of Rolling Stone. He normally signs confidentiality agreements so he couldn't give up too much information, but he gave us what he could. His best perk: a golf set and camera with lenses from the Goo Goo dolls.
Bob is an enormously talented photographer and a heck of an ambassador for Buffalo and Western New York.
