NIAGARA FALLS, NY-The critter count has grown by two as the Aquarium of Niagara has welcomed two new sea lions into their family.
The young females were each found stranded under similar circumstances on a beach and rescued by the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, California back in 2009.
Kiah, meaning "Star of the Ocean" and Arie, which means Goddess of the Lions" arrived at the Aquarium on December 4th, 2009.
They have been gaining weight and getting used to human interaction ever since. Aquarium officials say the pair are now having a great time chasing each other around the main pool.
