Ingram Micro Announces Layoffs at Williamsville Office

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y.-Ingram Micro announced Wednesday they are laying off employees at their Williamsville office.

A source tells 2 On Your Side that a few dozen lower level workers have been let go from the technology distribution company.

The layoffs come after Ingram Micro received more than $900,000 in tax breaks from the Amherst Industrial Development Agency in 2013 to expand.

Ingram Micro employs about 1,500 people in Western New York and about 20,000 people globally.
