Update: Despite a lot of stock, the electric train set just sold out (with some folks buying 3-5 at a time!). My deals next will be much safer stock-wise.

BUFFALO, NY - I've received a lot of requests for holiday gift baskets, especially cookies. I've had a lot of chance to "test" these deals out and two sites take top place in my books.

I'm pairing that today with a massive deal on an electric train set.

As usual, if you're hungry for more deals, I'll send those out via Twitter after the show. CLICK HERE

David's Cookies are not only some of the best cookies we've ever tasted in the newsroom, but they come right out of the oven and into the signature David's tin and are super soft by the time they're in your hands.

My favorite pick: The 1-pound fresh-baked cookies tin for $21.21 with the coupon code I found.

CLICK HERE and add coupon code XMAS15 at checkout. Shipping adds $4.95, but shipping is super-fast.

If you're shopping big or want a couple of gifts built into one order, a more expensive but big value option is the $80 David's Cookies Deluxe Gift Basket that gets knocked down to $56 with free shipping.

It includes a 2-pound tin of assorted baked cookies, a 1-pound tin of Rugglach, 14-ounce box of Florentine Lace Cookies, 14-ounce box of pecan meltaways and 2 free David's Cookies mugs. Awesome! CLICK HERE

Another one of my favorite picks are a great selection of Wine & Snax Gift Box Baskets that include everything from red or white wine, brie cheese spread, three-blend pepper crackers, Belgian truffles, smoked almonds and FREE SHIPPING for $30.

That is a major bargain this time of year since many merchants use gift baskets as a time to rip you off with crazy shipping fees.

There's a really nice selection here at the $30 mark that gets a big thumbs up from me. CLICK HERE

Finally, what little kid isn't intrigued by an electric train set?

Today a $50 train set drops to $15.23 through a price slash overnight, combined with a coupon I found. The set features 14.5 feet of track, a train with electronic train sound, headlight and requires six AA batteries.

CLICK HERE, enter coupon code BIGELF and opt for free in-store pickup to dodge the unpleasant $6 shipping fee. Despite quite a bit of stock, I expect this to sell-out quickly.
