Product Test: Quick Shine

You can buy the Quick Shine Floor Care Kit at CVS for $19.99. It promises to quickly and easily give floors a protective glow.

The kit comes with a bottle of floor finish and a mop with two micro fiber pads. Our tester, Amy mopped her floor and then poured on the finish and spread it around. Her wood floors looked better right away.

After the floor is completely dry, the directions say that you can add up to six more coats for a higher gloss shine. Amy laid down more coats but didn't really see much of a difference.

In the end, tester Amy said she did see an improvement. Her floors looked new again but she did not get the high-gloss finish she was hoping for. She gave the product one thumb up and one down.
