Product Test: Salad Chef

We bought the Salad Chef at Target for $39.99. It promises to help you slice and dice and shread all quickly and easily.

Our tester, Melissa was ready to put this product to the test. It is a seven piece set and comes with a bowl, lid, and other accessories. Our tester put a whole potato on the blades and pushed down. It took some effort, but in the end, we had perfectly cut up potatoes.  You can pick from a few different sizes.

It also comes with a shredding attachment which works well with carrots, cheese and even cucumbers.

The stainless steel blades are sharp and diced up an onion without too much effort.

Another plus is the fact that you can transport, store and serve all in one container.

Our tester liked the product and said it did just what it promised. She also said that because she has limited kitchen space, it is not likely something she would buy. That is the only reason she is giving the Salad Chef one thumb up and one down.
