Congratulations to these high school football players for making Dick Gallagher’s list of outstanding performances in week 13


Zak Trim, Maple Grove SR LB, recorded 25 tackles in the Red Dragons’ loss to Cambridge.

Matt Myers, West Seneca West SR QB, passed for 202 yards and rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown to lead the Indians to the Indians’ first state title.

Mike Glinski, West Seneca West sophomore LB, recorded 14 tackles in the Indians’ win over Yorktown.

Liam Scheuer, West Seneca West DL, recorded 5 tackles, 1 sack, and recovered a fumble to spark the Indians’ defense against Yorktown.

Easton Tanner, Maple Grove JR QB, passed for 88 yards, 1 touchdown, rushed for 79 yards and intercepted a pass for a 55 yard touchdown.

RJ Brandon, Canisius SR WR, caught 5 passes for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Crusaders’ loss to Stepinac.

Jayce Johnson, Canisius SR QB, rushed for 92 yards, 2 touchdowns, and passed for 183 yards and 2 scores in the loss to Stepinac.

Ryan Mansell, Lancaster SR QB, passed for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Legends’ loss to Troy.

Joe Andreessen, Lancaster SR FB/LB, rushed for 62 yards, 1 touchdown, and recorded 13 tackles in the loss.

Ben Damiani, Lancaster SR LB, recorded 11 tackles in the state championship game.
