A Winter Weather Advisory remains in place for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus counties until 7am Thursday.
The rest of the area should remain dry today with a mix of clouds and sun.
The big story today is the cold with high temperatures only in the low 20s with wind chills near zero.
Our next weather system is on the approach and will bring a general light snowfall for all of Western New York tonight after about 8 PM. By tomorrow morning most areas will pick up between 1 and 2 inches of fresh snow. Tomorrow’s high temperatures will only be in the teens to around 20° with more snow expected on Friday.
