BUFFALO, NY — A Buffalo man is facing 1 1/3 - 4 years in jail after receiving his sentencing on Thursday.

Reginald Alls, 31, struck a car with three occupants on March 5 around 4 p.m. at Grant and Garner streets in Buffalo. Alls ran a stop sign, struck the car, and fled the scene of the incident in his vehicle. It wasn't until Alls crashed into a concrete wall that he and a passenger abandoned the car and ran.

Alls left behind his NYS Learner's Permit and cell phone, as well as a hat and empty liquor bottle. DNA analysis on the items is what led to the defendant's arrest.

In October, Alls pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an incident resulting in serious physical injury.
