TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Police are asking for the public's help to find the driver who hit a person in a motorized wheelchair and then drove off.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. Friday around Vulcan Street near the GM plant.
The victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center and is in critical condition with head and chest injuries.
Sunday, police identified the victim as Kevin Sheridan, 56.
