Many of you have called and e-mailed us, asking how you can help those who's lives and homes were torn apart by the flooding in Gowanda and Silver Creek.
Here's a list of places that are accepting donations:

Baby's Sweet Beginnings Maternity/Lactation Center -
231 Aurora Street, Lancaster, New York. Currently accepting donations of Baby Related items; diapers, baby food, formula, bottled water, baby clothing, toys and or furniture. Please make sure that items are in usable condition. All food items must be in original un-opened containers. Business will be delivering any donations to Gowanda on Wednesday Aug 19th and again on Saturday August 22nd. Call 716-681-8100 for more information. -
Hinsdale American Legion - Route 16 in Hinsdale, New York. Organizations is accepting donations daily from 2:30pm - 8:00 pm. Items needed incluse bleach, disinfectant wipes, anti-bacterial hand soap, mops, buckets, sponges, baby formula, baby wipes, diapers, and pet food. Call 716-557-2010 for more info.

Otto Redanz Funeral Home - 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Taking donated supplies to affected areas 2-3 times per week. Call 716-297-9007 for more info.

Saint Lawrence R.C. Church - 1520 East Delavan Avenue, Buffalo, New York. Asking for pizzerias to donate pizzas to flood victims on Tuesday August 18th. Parishioners and Volunteers from various Police & Fire Agencies will leave from Saint Lawrence Church @ 2:30 pm to bring all the food donated for the Residents of Gowanda and the emergency workers for dinner on Tuesday Evening. Community Bank - 288 Central Avenue, Silver Creek, New York is collecting monetary donations for the flood victims. Just stop by the branch and tell the teller you'd like to donate to the Silver Creek relief fund.
