The 56th annual Grammy awards held on Sunday in Los Angeles had a decidedly Western New York flavor. Among those well known celebrities striding the red carpet, there are some people with big cheering sections back here.
We've told you plenty about one of them. Westfield music teacher Kent Knappenberger beat out 30,000 nominees to receive the first-ever music educator Grammy.
And even though they've already learned they didn't win, congratulations are due to Buffalo native Brian Grunert and Amherst native Annie Stoll who were nominated for their design of the album cover for "Automatic Music Can be Fun" by Geneseo.
