Fight for Air Climb

How fast can you climb 800 stairs? Join us Saturday, March 8, 2014 as we set our sights on the Buffalo Skyline! The 4th Annual Fight for Air Climb Buffalo event will challenge your muscles and lungs. Each climber will either race, run or walk to the 38th floor of Buffalo's tallest building, One Seneca Tower to help raise funds and awareness for the American Lung Association.

The Fight for Air Climb is a unique event that is open to all fitness levels. Whether you are an athlete looking for a new challenge, climbing as fun activity for your family, or even a virtual climber, your participation raises vital funds for the American Lung Association.

You can register as an individual or form a team and invite friends, family and co-workers to join you in the climb. Register on-line at The event takes place on Saturday, March 8th at One Seneca Tower (formerly known as HSBC Tower).

7:30 AM – Registration and check-in opens

9 AM – First climber takes off

11:30AM (estimated) – Firefighter challenge begins

It is suggested that climbers arrive 30-45 minutes prior to their scheduled start time to check- in, retrieve your bib number, timing chip, and stretch.


• Registration Fee -$35

• Event day (Saturday, March 8): $50 (plus the $100 fundraising minimum)

Please note that on-line registration ends after March 5th. Participants are required to raise a minimum of $100, due by event day. Incentive prizes are offered for fundraising levels of $250 or more. Awards are also given to individuals and teams who raise the most money. Check out our Fundraising Tips once you register. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. The American Lung Association® is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
