Heather DuBose is thrilled to be part of the Daybreak team! Not only does she provide Western New Yorkers with traffic updates each morning from 6-8:30 a.m., she also produces the 6 o'clock hour of Daybreak as well as Channel 2 News Midday.
Heather grew up in the Southern Tier, where she attended Cassadaga Valley High School. She went on to study at Syracuse University, graduating in 2006 with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Economics and Art History.
Heather started her career at WJET-TV, where she produced Erie, Pennsylvania's #1 rated nightly newscast. She is happy to be back in Western New York, producing newscasts that impact her family and community.
In 2010, Heather was nominated for a New York Emmy award for her work on the City Grill Shooting newscast on August 14, 2010.
When not at work, Heather enjoys cycling, running and yoga. She's also a self-proclamed cupcake master, and caretaker to an adorably Chihuahua named Picasso and cat named Mozart.
