BUFFALO, N.Y. — The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Wind Advisory for Southern Erie and Chautauqua Counties.

The advisory went into effect at 5 p.m. Sunday and lasts until 8 a.m. Monday.

The High Wind Watch is no longer in effect.

Winds will be out of the southeast at 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts of up to 50 mph. Winds may bring down some trees and power lines.

The strongest winds will be along the Lake Erie shoreline.
