Ice prompts Winter Weather Advisories around WNY

Warm air has been more aggressive to move north and that means trouble with sleet and freezing rain in many locations Saturday night and early Sunday.

Winter Weather Advisories will be in effect through 7 p.m. Sunday in Niagara and Orleans counties.

Up to .1" of freezing rain is possible in that area during that time.

Bridges and overpasses will be most susceptible to icing.

Wherever you are in Western New York or northwest Pennsylvania, please exercise caution when walking outside or driving. It may look like rain is falling but ice is likely through the second half of the weekend.
