AMHERST, NY- Saturday is senior day for the UB football team. 18 players will be playing their final game in a Bulls uniform.

There are two streaks on the line. The Miami Redhawks have won their last four games. They started the season by losing their first six games.

UB has won the last four games against Miami but this season the Bulls are having a tough year with a record of 2-7. They have won just one conference game and are coming off a 34-10 loss to Ohio last week.

While head coach Lance Leipold said Tuesday at his weekly media briefing the Bulls need to be more consistent and take advantage of the opportunities they are getting, but that hasn't happened often enough this season.

On the bright side the Bulls offense continues to make good progress. Buffalo's offense has been improving in recent weeks. After averaging 293 yards of total offense over the first four games, the Bulls have been averaging 420 yards over the last five games. UB has posted over 400 yards of offense in three of the last four games, including a season-best 518 yards in a win over Akron on Oct. 27.

After Saturday's game the Bulls have just two games remaining and both are on the road. UB finishes with games at Western Michigan which is ranked in the top 20 nationally and then the season finale at Bowling Green.

Kickoff Saturday is scheduled for 1-pm.
