BUFFALO, NY- The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Taylor Fedun to a two-year, two-way extension. The team announced the signing Monday.

The 29 year old played in 27 games for the Sabres last season. He also played for the Rochester Americans. He was quite productive for the Amerks. He had points in 29 games with Rochester.

With the Sabres Fedun had 7 points, 7 hits and 20 blocked shots.

In part of 4 NHL seasons Fedun has 14 points on 2 goals and 12 assists.

Fedun was going to become an unrestricted free agent next Saturday. His NHL salary will be $650,000 for each of the next two seasons.
