BUFFALO, NY -- Its been an eventful off season for the Sabres. Shortly after their season ended they fired general manager Tim Murray and head coach Dan Bylsma.

They hired Jason Botterill as general manager and he hired former Sabres defenseman Phil Housley as the new head coach.

The Sabres head into the new season with a first time GM and a first time NHL head coach.

The question is, are the Sabres better off now than they were under the previous administration ? 2 On Your Side's Stu Boyar certainly thinks so and shares his thoughts on the rebuilding process that is well underway.
