BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Evan Rodrigues to a two-year contract with the average value of $650,000 annually.
Evan Rodrigues, a native of Etobicoke, Ontario, is five feet, ten inches tall and will turn 24 on Friday. The team made the announcement about his two-year contact on Thursday, adding that the first year is a two-way deal, and the second year is one-way.
In the 2016-17 season, Rodrigues registered six points in 30 games. Since signing with the Sabres in April 2015, he has recorded eight points and four penalty minutes.
Rodrigues played with the Rochester Americans for his second season in 2016-17 as well. In the last two seasons, his 60 total points rank him fifth among all Amerks players during the time period that he played.
