ORCHARD PARK - Bills head coach Rex Ryan jumped to the defense of starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor after he struggled in the passing game in Buffalo's 30-19 win over the Rams in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Taylor was 12/23 for 124-yards and two touchdowns in the game, and the Bills offense struggled to move the ball for significant portions of the game. Taylor's performance was largely offset by running back LeSean McCoy's 150-yard effort on the ground.

Taylor did throw two touchdown passes, one in the first quarter and one in the fourth quarter. Ryan to a great extent evaluated Taylor on that.

"He was heavily criticized for some reason... I hope he gets criticized this week for a win... another win."
