PITTSFORD, NY - It seems Sammy Watkins avoided an injury scare after leaving practice briefly on Sunday after "tweaking his ankle". He left with a Bills trainer but came back shortly after and rejoined practice.

"I mean bad, poor footing. I overextended on my route and usually I don't do that but on that play I kind of overextended it and tweaked my ankle a little bit but I'm fine," Watkins said after practice.

After sitting out the first session of 11-on-11 drills, he rejoined the first team for the next session of team drills along with 7-on-7's.

"At first coach wouldn't let me go but I was like please let me test it out so I can steal a couple plays and once I caught the ball and ran another route I'm like I'm good, I'm fine."

Left tackle Cordy Glenn also returned to practice on Sunday after missing Thursday and Friday with a sore foot.
