Former Bills quarterback Frank Reich has agreed to become the Colts' head coach.

Reich served as Eagles' offensive coordinator for the past two seasons.

The hiring of Reich ends the Colts' drama-filled coaching search after Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels decided to pass on the job after he already accepted it.

Reich spent nine of his 13 NFL seasons with the Bills as Jim Kelly's backup quarterback during the team's Super Bowl years. Reich is most known for leading the Bills in the "The Comeback" game, a 41-38 overtime victory over the Oilers in AFC wild-card playoff game. Reich helped rally the Bills back from a 35-3 third-quarter deficit. It remains the largest comeback in NFL history.

Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier was also interviewed for the Colts' vacancy.
