ORCHARD PARK- Former Kansas City Chiefs receiver Jeremy Maclin visited with the Bills in Buffalo on Tuesday afternoon.

Maclin has multiple connections to the current Bills coaching staff and roster:

  1. He overlapped with Bills head coach Sean McDermott when the two were in Philadelphia in 2009 and 2010.
  2. He worked with Bills quarterbacks coach David Culley, when Culley was the receivers coach in Philly and Kansas City.
  3. He was teammates with Bills running back LeSean McCoy in Philly from 2009-2014.

Just two days after the Kansas City Chiefs unexpectedly cut the Pro Bowl receiver, McCoy wasted no time in reaching out.

"I know he could help us out tremendously," McCoy told ESPN at his charity softball event in Rochester on Sunday. "I've been doing my recruiting already, and don't be surprised if it happens."

Tyrod Taylor also said he has reached out to Maclin to help the "recruiting process."

The Bills announced the meeting Tuesday, after it was first reported Monday night by voice of UB football Paul Peck and later reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
