Wind Chill Warning For All Of Western New York

Wind chills of 20 to 25 degrees below zero are likely through Sunday morning.

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for all of Western New York for today and lasting through Sunday morning.

Wind chills are expected to drop to between 10 and 25 below zero. This kind of cold can cause frostbite to set in on exposed skin in under 30 minutes.

There is finally light at the end of the tunnel with temperatures warming back into the 20s by Sunday. Temperatures will continue to rise through the week but there is a storm that will bring widespread light snow to the area Monday.

A Lake Effect Snow warning is in effect for Orleans County until 10 p.m. Sunday. An additional couple of inches of snow is possible during that time. Roads are also slick in northern Erie County and Niagara County where snow showers have been off an on over the past 24 hours.
