Ride-sharing has been operating in upstate New York fewer than two months, but the rides appeared popular among Bills fans. That included Elia Lasting, who took his first Uber ride -- ever -- to the game on Thursday.
"Very convenient," he said. "Much easier than parking."
It was a day of firsts for Susan Nickerson, too, who picked Bills game-day as her first day on the job as an Uber driver.
"It makes a lot of sense," she said, noting that it's easier to use Uber than to pay 15 bucks to park.
Of course, it depends on where you're going and when you're leaving. An Uber ride from the stadium to downtown Buffalo cost about $20, according to prices listed on the app during the fourth quarter.
Lyft did not have a designated zone at New New Era Field, but drivers were operating with similar pricing during and after the game.
