BUFFALO, N.Y.- Two local state senators are asking the state for extra funding to help repair road damage caused by this harsh winter.
Senators Tim Kennedy (D) and Mark Panepinto (D) are requesting an extra $500 million to help fix roads and bridges after winter.
The senators say the state can afford the proposals after their $5 billion bank settlement surplus, and that the construction would create 13,000 jobs.
