BUFFALO NY - An investigation into a report of pipe bombs in a vehicle has turned out to be nothing, according to Buffalo Fire.

Buffalo Police and Fire were called to a report of possible pipe bombs found in a vehicle parked in a lot near the 100 block of Miami Street.

Buffalo Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield tells 2 On Your Side that the owner of a repo business contacted police after he noticed something suspicious in the trunk of a vehicle recently repossessed.

Garnell says after further inspection of the items in the vehicle, it was determined the items were tools belonging to a handy man.
