BUFFALO, NY - Television ads by the campaign to re-elect New York Governor Andrew Cuomo have thus far, at least in Western New York, been all about the governor and in political parlance would be called "positive" ads, as they don't even mention his opponents.
However, one running in the eastern part of the state is much different. It is in the form of an "attack" ad, portraying his republican opponent in November, Mark Molinaro, as a Trump "mini-me."
The ad calls Molinaro a puppet of the President, and alleges - among other things- that Molinaro is against abortion rights, same-sex marriage, and "sensible" gun control.
Molinaro has declared each and every allegation made in the ad to be false.
