BUFFALO, NY — There were events all over Western New York on Sunday to celebrate Earth Day.
In Chautauqua County, the Cattaraugus Creek Water Walkerz hosted a series of events, beginning with an Earth Day run, walk and paddle at 6 a.m.
Meanwhile, visitors at the Buffalo Museum of Science participated in hands-on activities and had a chance to check out the student-inspired rain barrel art display created from plastic bags.
The display is part of a project called, "Pollution Prevention through Art," which aims to make the connection between litter, stormwater and plastic pollution.
