LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- Niagara County Sheriff officials are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect connected to a Sunoco robbery in the Town of Lockport Saturday morning.

Officials say at about 3:20 a.m., the suspect entered the Sunoco at 5985 South Transit Road and demanded money while threatening the store clerk with a knife.

The clerk described the suspect as a white male who is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall wearing a dark colored hoodie with no zipper, black khaki style pants, white sneakers, a navy blue hat and a black bandana covering his mouth. The suspect was also wearing orange, holographic-style aviator sunglasses, officials say.

The suspect may also have a bruise under his eye and another facial injury from a possible altercation connected to the Sunoco incident.
