BUFFALO, NY-The Buffalo Museum of Science is starting a new program hoping to encourage residents who live in the neighborhood to check them out.

It's called 'Neighbor Pass'. The museum will offer $5 individual and $10 family memberships to those who live in zip codes 14208, 14211 and 14212.

The hope is the initiative will open up science, technology engineering and math (STEM) education to those who may have never visited the museum.

The program is made possible with a gift from Ms. Deborah Goldman and Dr. Grant Golden. "We are so pleased to make the Science Museum, a community treasure, affordable to those living close by. This is a great opportunity for neighbors, young and old, to explore the vast, endlessly exciting world of science", said Ms. Goldman and Mr. Golden.

Memberships can be purchased with proof of residency at the Science Museum, located at 1020 Humboldt Parkway or by calling 896-5200 x 311.
