BUFFALO, N.Y. - Senator Charles Schumer says if you've noticed more waits crossing the Peace Bridge lately, it's because our neighbors to the north aren't putting enough border agents in booths.

The senator spoke Thursday about a conversation he had with Canada's ambassador, asking Canada to add more agents to get people through customs faster.

Schumer says any delays at the bridge hurt both sides of the border.

"And I said you cannot let it back up this way for hours and hours. We've gotten more people on our side of the border, you've got to get more on yours. He said he would try to get that done."
