BUFFALO, N.Y.-- The Erie County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit seized about four-grams of crack and a loaded, semiautomatic pistol during a search warrant in Buffalo.

According to the Sheriff's Office, 46-year-old Shawn Stevenson of Buffalo, has been charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell, criminal possession of a narcotic, and criminal possession of a weapon. Stevenson's grandson and granddaughter were there during the search warrant, which led to additional charges.

He was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

The pistol that was seized was found in a motorized toy car.

The children were turned over to a relative.

Stevenson is being held at the Erie County Holding Center on $75,000 bail.
