BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police announced an arrest in connection with an apparent domestic-related shooting that happened Saturday night in the city's Black Rock neighborhood.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Lawn Avenue.
A 22-year-old Buffalo male was shot while sitting inside his vehicle. He was taken to Kenmore Mercy Hospital where is listed in stable condition.
Buffalo Police have arrested 28-year-old Dave Thornton, of Buffalo, and charged him with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Thornton is an ex-boyfriend of the victim's girlfriend, according to detectives.
